I'm a bookworm and most of my reading material concerns ETs and subjects dealing with the Ascension. This book was written in 1992 and, to me even here in late 2015, it is still possibly the best book I've ever read on these subjects. I've read it at least 2-3 times over the years and plan on reading it again. This book (and her explanation of The Family of Light) rang a chord in me like no other book has....as did Barbara Marciniak's 3 other books (all of which I also recommend). If I could keep only one book out of the hundreds in my metaphysical library, this is the one book I'd keep. It's truly sad Ms. Marciniak hasn't written any more books.
I first came across this book on the shelf of someone whom i knew very briefly. I picked it up and read a random page and just thought to myself "what!?". Snapped a pic then ordered it on amazon. The first chapter was a lot of "yeah, okay. Not really, but sure." Then somewhere in the second chapter I just felt with my whole being that this was the proper record of how things happened on Planet Earth. I've always been drawn to atheism, collectivism, and anarchism. I believe I stumbled upon this book at the perfect time. This is the one book where most things just clicked for me. It explains why we are where we are as a species, and the challenges of truly becoming enlightened as a person on Earth and as a member of the Family of Light.
Bringers of the Dawn is a lovely story, a kind of inspiring fairy tale. Is it true? Who knows? I first read it back in 2006 when I was more mesmerized by New Age Concepts. I still celebrate the overall concept of the Pleiadians, whoever they are, recommending that we need to become more conscious. But for me all my years of reading new age fairy tales – well, lovely as this book is, I can’t say it helped me become more conscious. It has only given me a lot more concepts in the way of direct awareness itself. – that powerful knowing accessed through the Presence of Silent Inner awareness. What has worked quite remarkably for me has been a direct connection with another human being who embodies enlightened consciousness, Dave Oshana who shares the powerful Enlightenment Transmission that is both extremely personal and powerfully transformative, through which my whole experience of life has been transformed, anger has dropped away, meditation is not something I need to do, it just happens to me spontaneously, to name a few of the changes from increased consciousness. So yes, bring on the Light!
I read this book about two years ago and it has had a tremendous impact on me. It was one of the first channeled books I've read, along with one of the Seth books and Conversations with God. The more I learned more about metaphysics, the more I wondered about the bigger picture of humanity and the universe. This book is so inspiring and the message is beautiful beyond words. Even if you do not understand channeling, the message is comforting. It feels intuitively right and true. Every once in a while I find myself reading short passages of this book and I will probably read it a couple more times throughout this lifetime. We are love and we are loved and thanks to Barbara and the Pleiadians, I am not afraid anymore. I have so many more years of life to live (I hope) and I am so glad to have read this book that has taught me that it is all about love and nothing feels truer to me than that. It feels so incredibly wonderful to know we are not alone and we do have a much grander and beautiful purpose than we are taught and led to believe.
Can't believe this book was written in 1992. It's 2018 and I am dumbfounded of how the content and the information in this book are so current. I can only imagine Barbara and the pleiadians were way ahead of our time when they wrote this book. It would be hard for most people to comprehend this book back in 1992 with so limited knowledge in technology, science, UFO discovery and true history, but now reading this book only makes perfect sense to our true human history and everything matches up and comes full circle.
This book is TRIPPING ME OUT -- in a good way!It's fun/exciting to experience how each human mind makes sense of THE BIGGER PICTURE of our Universe.You can take what the author is saying literally, or figuratively/allegorically ~ both are enjoyable & mind-expanding.(p9)"...never take anything we say literally. Always follow the larger spiral that we are intending to create that allows you to see the bigger picture. Never stop where we define an idea, since we are simply here to open up your paradigms and rattle your cages so that you can begin to find the activation of the real knowledge, the true knowledge, that is stored insoide of you. ...we have come to awaken it in you".Her book is thought-provoking and will take you out of your 'comfort zone' ... but I highly appreciate her 'putting herself out there'and I'm delighted to read her perspective added to the mix of the various New Age media i've entertained(AM entertaining)...AND YET ALL THE BASIC IDEAS/MESSAGES ARE THE SAME~~The Pleiadians use familiar terms like "Lightworker" & charkra, multi-dimentionality, multiple-realities, "Source"(ie God), 'vibrational frequency' + LOVE. That's the best thing there is to say about this book: LOVE*** (p6) "Love is the key. Love is what makes up the universe."Basically the Pleiadians tell a Far-Out Intergalactic "Story" about how we humans are creator gods & it's time to embrace true LOVE to raise our vibration and save our planet.You can buy into all the trippy details of bird-gods & UFO abductions + light-filaments in our cells, reptile-ETs more powerful than us...watch how the Pleiadians weave it all together & create their own great story of creation, the universe, Source, and US!Whether/not this is all "REAL" & "really happened" to author Marciniak is inconsequential to me-- WHO CARES?!Enjoy this amazing story-- watch the Youtube video (which helped inspire me to buy this book) ~~Take an intergallactic Mind-boggling joy-ride into the Infinite -- but hold on tight, cuz these aliens (who actually us by the way--) are gonna start diving into details, and talking (almost) over your head...
