Este es un punto que hay debo de especificar: este libro no es un libro de texto o de teoría sino un manual de consulta. Eso no es un hándicap. Al contrario, es una bendición poder contar con un manual reciente sobre la consejería bíblica. Creo no equivocarme si digo que no disponemos de muchos manuales de este tipo en español. Los autores presentan 40 casos sobre temas como trauma, divorcio, duelo y pérdida, educación de hijos, y más.Algo que personalmente me ha gustado mucho en este libro son las estadísticas y datos que se encuentran el los márgenes del libro y que están relacionados con cada caso presentado. Ello hace que los márgenes sean anchos, lo cual facilita que el lector pueda escribir sus propias notas con mucha comodidad. La sencillez utilizada por los autores es digna de ser mencionada. Como ya se dijo antes, este libro está escrito en un lenguaje accesible para toda pastor que desee tener a mano un manual bíblico de conserjería. Como siempre, hay que resaltar el trabajo de traducción realizado por Editorial Portavoz, ya que este libro fue originalmente escrito en inglés.Pastores, este libro debe de ser, junto con la Biblia, el libro que deben de tener a mano para su ministerio como consejeros. Veo difícil que puedan encontrar un manual sobre el tema de la conserjería bíblica en español y de esta calidad.
Como un consejero de 30 anos, yo recomendo este libro para los que quieren aprender mas de la consejeria.
